Laureate Education (2016j ) described how we could examine Cook’s distance in terms of descriptive on the “residual statistics.” Additional expansion of the diagnostic issue relating to Cook’s distance is from an article by University of North Carolina (2015). The goal was meant to develop Cook’s distance procedures for assessing the influence of both atypical curves and observations, under varying coefficient model with functional responses.
